Dog Raw Diet Guide
The thought of a raw diet for your dog is either something you love or you hate. It’s a bit like Marmite in that regard. One thing is for certain. There is no more passionately committed a group of dog feeders than those who choose to feed their dogs raw. Raw feeders brook no argument. To them raw dog food is the best and only way to feed a dog and that’s the end of the matter!
As a raw feeder today, you have a number of choices. You can buy all the fresh raw ingredients and make up your dog’s raw diet yourself. Or you can buy raw commercial products from any of dozens of companies who effectively supply you with raw ready meals for your dog. Whichever you choose, there are a number of compelling reasons to ditch the kibble and either feed raw or homemade dog food.
There is no doubt you will see a huge difference in your dog if you follow my dog raw diet guide and begin feeding your dog a raw diet. Everything from improved stools to much healthier skin and coat. In point of fact, there are a great many reasons why raw is the fastest growing dog food sector.
But feeding a dog a raw diet is not quite as simple as it might at first seem. There are a number of things you have to consider. Most importantly perhaps, the subject of calcium supplementation. Then you need to consider the organ to muscle meat ratio. How much to feed. How much fat to feed. Whether or not to add fruit and vegetables. (I recommend you do by the way). And what about oils and other supplements? And then there’s the thorny issue of hygiene.
There’s a lot to consider before you start raw feeding your dog. My dog raw diet guide can definitely help!
