Simplest is often best
All too often today, the moment our best friend develops a health problem we phone the vet. On occasions, it’s necessary of course. But in the vast majority of cases, a much simpler solution is staring us in the face. It’s the cause of a large percentage of UK dog health problems and people don’t event know it. It’s food!
Well-known American veterinarian Dr Cathy Alinovi has estimated that 80% of the patients who walk through her door could be cured by nutrition alone. Improved food. She doesn’t believe in simply treating the symptom of a canine health problem which of course is what most vets would do. Instead, Dr Alinovi believes in finding and treating the cause of the problem. And all too often today, the cause of the problem is food related!
Food is the cause of most dog health problems
Ear infections, bladder problems, obesity, diabetes, diarrhea, pancreatitis, allergies, skin and coat problems. These are amongst many canine health issues which can generally be addressed simply with improved nutrition. A better diet. That means dumping unhealthy commercial dog food and either making homemade dog food or changing your dog to a raw diet.
So please, don’t put your dog through unwarranted stress and yourself through unecessary expense. Look closely at what you’re putting in your dog’s bowl twice a day. Ask yourself if that looks like appropriate nutrition for your best friend. Ask yourself if that might not be the cause of your pup’s ill health because it almost certainly is.
